I purchased the hairdryer in December 2015. I even have the original box and receipt which I emailed to customer service. The dryer finally stopped working but it had only been five years. I sent the dryer back in the original box with all the original packaging. I spent $20 just to ship it.
This is their reply :
Upon inspection, your product does not fit the requirements of our warranty policy, so your claim has been denied.
Reason for denial: Product outside of warranty period
Additional Notes (if any): 10x dryer purple; manuf code worn off; claims purchased 12-15-15 problem as described; flat cord failed under strain relief beyond 5 year 'other parts' warranty; only motor is 10 year warranty
The wording is so very accusatory as if I rubbed off the manufacturer code which is actually on the barrel of the hairdryer. And even so, this is not correct because I was able to visualize the manufacturer code though faint. It also accuses me that I am claiming I purchased the dryer onset date. I actually sent in receipt. It is not an unfounded claim but a FACT. And of course all they have to do is state that only the motor has a 10 year warranty and everything else falls outside of that. They dismissed it entirely. They don't seem to care that they have a very unsatisfied customer. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I buy high-end products so that the last. I buy a Dyson vacuum. I buy a Keurig. I have a Blendtec blender. I have had Wusthoff knives. Each one of these companies has worked with me to correct issues that have arisen . I will never purchase from this brand ever again. SHAME on them.
Light-weight and blow dries the hair quickly. Took some getting used to the longer nozzle, but all in all, would highly recommend.
Unfortunately I had this item delivered to an address where I was only staying a short time and while I was here I had Covid so I did not ever receive my package. It may have been my fault. However I have one at my other residence and I like it a lot for my thin fine hair. I am hoping to order another brush from this company. They refunded me and we’re out of stock so I will look into ordering one in the future.
Does the whole job well
The Bio Ionic Universal works fine with my Bio Ionic Hair Dryer. One problem I’ve had is that the diffuser occasionally works it way off the hair dryer. The maker of the product might want to to improve the design to correct this problem.
I purchased this dryer sixteen months ago and it stopped working out of nowhere. It has a one-year warranty and the manufacturer refuses any help to repair it. They obviously make cheap products and do not stand behind their quality. What a waste of money, will not be buying from this manufacturer again, lesson learned. $150 for 1.5 years of use is not worth it.
